About us
MAIA was founded in 2022 by two sisters. The idea to find MAIA was first born during one of the many trips to Istanbul, the birthplace of textiles, yarn, handicrafts. MAIA - inspired to bring to the world carefully selected handicrafts, products with their own stories and to evoke in people a passion for travel, a sense of the maximalism of youth “when it seems that everything is possible”, the bold to the brightest experiments.
We work mainly with local craftswomen from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Russia. All products are made exclusively from high-quality natural materials and under fair conditions. Currently, trendy knitwear, handmade natural stone products are presented.
